I made this photograph in Spring 2022. It was a beautiful, cool afternoon to take in the sight at a leisurely pace. I was photographing the water and scenery when this seagull flew in. First standing looking at the camera, later proceeded to settle down on the pole. I was worried it would fly off or be bothered by the camera, instead it simply enjoyed sitting down as if posing !
