I made this photograph in Spring 2022 in British Columbia. It was a beautiful, cool afternoon to take in the sight at a leisurely pace. No hurry, no rush, no deadlines to meet, simply looking out and enjoying the view. This seagull was so wrapped up in taking in the sight that for 20 minutes it stayed in this same exact position, shying away from the camera and refusing to look.
